Good story

This is a higher level continuation of "El viaje de su vida." A couple of high school students end up stranded in Puerto Rico with no money. It's a little longer than "El viaje de su vida." I very much like this series, especially the ones by Lisa Ray Turner and Blaine Ray.

This Level 2 book was easy to read, yet yielded many words and phrases that were new to me. I like the way it repeats or expresses things differently to reinforce their meaning for the reader.

My students loved it

My Spanish students are often frustrated that their vocabulary level just isn't quite up to the ability of reading "real" Spanish Literature, but both the Level 2 and Level 1 students are able to study a short list of vocabulary and work through an interesting story that keeps them wanting to turn the pages and discuss it the next week in class. I thought it was QUITE well done.
